Dr. Velez is a pro's pro. He keeps his patients informed throughout the entire process. I had 3 discs replaced and it couldn't have gone any better. THE ULTIMATE PEACE OF MIND! After becoming concerned about swelling in my injured hand, I decided to follow up with Dr. Mowbray (hand specialist), at Resurgens. I was able to get an immediate "same day" appointment. When I arrived, I had already downloaded and completed the necessary paperwork so I had a very short wait. Dr. Mowbray has a very easy manner about him, does a great job of educating about wound care and is very thorough. X-rays were taken to determine the full extent of the injury, an additional stitch was removed to relieve pressure, my meds were adjusted, I received specific instruction on hand exercises and I was given a splint to provide additional support. Later that night, I noticed a significant decrease in the swelling while the mobility in my fingers had significantly increased. YES! I was elated because this means that the healing process is on target and I will likely avoid further intervention. The best decision I could have made was to follow up as soon as possible. During my entire visit, the staff in this office was very professional, pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Mowbray and his staff if you are ever in need of a hand and arm specialist.

I have been using Resurgens for over 11 years and yes, you will wait sometimes a little longer than you expect to, but that's because the doctor's don't throw you out in 5 minutes. They listen to you and the problem(s), discuss all options and tell you the best way to proceed. I have had knee, shoulders, arm, hand and back problems that they have helped me with and I would recommend them to all. Resurgens doctor's are terrific.

Absolutely a phenomenal professional and surgeon. Never seems like he is in a hurry during visits or follow ups. Surgery on severed bicep tendon turned out better than I wouldve ever expected. The support staff for Dr. Patel including Jennifer Utshundi, Arifa Khan, and Erin Mingledorff PA make these visits like visiting family or friends.

If you are looking for the best Orthopedic Surgeon for knee or hip replacement Dr. Kim is the one! Dr. Kim replaced both of my knees, 7 years and 8 months ago and was fantastic. I had complete trust in his abilities and excellent care from him as well as Andrea and Josh. Having a good Physical Therapist is also key to and excellent recovery. All the Physical Therapist I talk to highly recommend Dr. Kim and that speaks volumes as well as a highly respected reputation!

I went to Resurgens Orthopedic for treatment for carpal tunnel issues. Dr. Starecki handled the surgery and guess what?? No more carpal tunnel problems. Good experience, not much pain and relatively quick recovery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Starecki to be your doctor for anyone with carpal tunnel pains.
