Always get the MRI after injury. After surgery I went from a sketchy weak offline 1O0 yard 7 iron to 175 yard 7 iron straight on target. (At age 68) I also recovered full strength a month and a half early in the PT/OT program. My OT therapist said he always does the best surgeries (elbow or shoulder) Elbow got trashed in a MVA. Two of the four finger tendons had been ripped off and debris in the joint was tearing/prying the remaining two with each shot. I had to have a full tennis elbow repair. All 4 finger tendons at the elbow anchor were regathered, rebundled and re-anchored perfectly. Dr Schneider actually wrote the book "The Invention of Surgery". I have a signed copy. I don't even register that I had a surgery now. It just feels right again.

Dr Schneider is very personable. He listened and didn't shut me down or judge. This was my 2nd opinion after 8 months of trying to work with OCC. I wish I had gone to Dr Schneider 1st I would have been through the healing process by now.

Dr. Schneider is a wonderful doctor. I am a needy and young (for needing joint replacement) patient. Dr. Dave took the time to help me understand that getting the new shoulder was needed and most likely would help relieve my day-to-day arthritic pain. I had a fair amount of anxiety about having this surgery, and even concerns with allergic reactions to the implant ( I have a nickel allergy). I am now 6 month post-op. I have not had pain in my shoulder for over 3 months. I am thankful every day that the pain is gone, and quality of life (and sleep) has improved. Now, that said, this is not an easy recovery, imo. The first week post-op was rough, and weeks 2-3 were no picnic. Weeks 3-6 I saw steady improvement, worked hard at PT and stretching. By 6 my pain level was low enough to not treat. By week 8-10 the pain was gone. For me, most of normal activity resumed around 8-10 weeks. Although I was reluctant to get this surgery, I am so glad I did.

The first week post-op was rough, and weeks 2-3 were no picnic. But from about week 3-6 I saw steady improvement, and worked hard at PT and stretching regularly. by week 6 my pain level was low enough to not treat with Ibuprofen/acetaminophen. By week 8-10 the pain was gone. For me, most of normal activity resumed around 8-10 weeks, but I could still improve my strength and range of motion. At my 6 month post-op Dr. Schneider encouraged me to keep working on the range of motion and strength, but it's so improved from what it was like before surgery! Ultimately, more than 3 different medical professionally referred me to Dr. Schneider, and although I consulted with others, I know I made the right decision!

I have had issues with my shoulders due to lingering injuries, from high school sports, riding dirt bikes, camping, etc. At 52 the pain and discomfort had gotten to be a daily battle. From taking medication for the pain, and waking up multiple times thru the night, the impact on my day to day activities I had had enough. Dr. Schneider explained I needed a full replacement in my left shoulder. Dr. Schneider and his staff made sure I was comfortable thru the procedure and recovery. Dr. Schneider and his staff were always available for questions. A year after the replacement. I needed a rotator cuff repair on my right shoulder. Dr. Schneider and his staff were there for me again. The team Dr. Schneider has assembled is amazing. From scheduling appointments to having questions answered regarding medication. From physical therapy to follow up visits. Dr. Schneider and his team have always been available. I have recommended Dr. Schneider to my friends and family.

Extraordinary care. Dr. Schneider and his team excellent. I was fortunate to find such exemplary care. My experience with a total reverse shoulder replacement was better than I expected. Other health care providers are amazed at my recovery and range of motion.
