The staff is always friendly. I have been coming to Resurgeons for years. This was my first time meeting Dr. Ficke and he was very through and listened to my concerns.

Dr Ficke is very kind and gentle. He was familiar with my hand issue and quickly set up an in office procedure to ease my cramping. I highly recommend Dr Ficke.

i'm a bit late on this review but I am JUST THRILLED! i saw Dr Brooks Ficke @ Resurgens in December 2024 for what he described as a fix for my trigger finger. My finger kept going out of joint and was most annoying. he had 2 methods to fix it. 1 was in the office, probably took 2 or 3 minutes and if that didn't work, he does a 9 minute surgical procedure. when he checked my finger, he said he could fix it in the office. he put some ice numbing spray on it, sort of pulled the tendons down towards my hand, wrapped my hand up and i was out the door. it did take a little while for the soreness to go away but after several days, it felt so much better. Now, 4 months or so later, it's 100% better. i have seen many different doctors at Resurgens for other parts of my body & they are all great. however, i saw a different Resurgens hand doctor for this trigger finger before seeing Dr Ficke and although he spoke about surgery, he made it sound very dramatic, including some rehab after. thankfully, Dr Ficke had sent out an email to Resurgens' hand patients describing his 'method' and i couldn't come in to see him fast enough. for this type of issue, i can't rate him high enough. if there were 10 stars, he'd get that. i'm sure he's great for other hand/shoulder issues as well.

Dr. Ficke and his team were caring and kind. Dr. Ficke listened carefully to my symptoms, did a careful focused physical examination and explained his findings and his treatment recommendations in plain language. He patiently answered my questions and gave me great confidence that I selected the right surgeon to treat my carpal tunnel syndrome.

Dr. Ficke is a great Doctor. I wanted to make sure my broken finger had healed correctly and ensure I didn't need additional surgery. He quickly assessed that my finger had healed properly and would be fine. He erased all of the uncertainty and doubt I had about my broken finger. It was a quick visit but I left knowing I was okay.
